John R. McMillan has practiced law in Nevada for 28 years. Over that time, he has gained an unrivaled vantage point of the Nevada legal landscape, and has used this perspective to achieve numerous successes for his clients.

Mr. McMillan is admitted to practice in the State of Nevada and before the Federal District Courts of Nevada. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and the Clark County Bar Association, American Bar Association. He was previously on the State Bar’s Disciplinary Committee and the State Bar's Character and Fitness Committee.

Mr. McMillan’s specific areas of experience include corporate law, securities, business law, corporate finance, business start-up, corporate governance, real estate, real estate development and construction law.

Mr. McMillan has represented clients in obtaining financing totaling more than $500,000,000 and in developing real estate projects of more than one billion dollars. Mr. McMillan has built his career on tackling complex and multifaceted legal issues for his clients. His development legal experience includes residential subdivision, retail-commercial projects, an 18-story Hotel and Casino and a golf course.

Aside from a career as an attorney, Mr. McMillan believes very strongly in helping children who are less fortunate so that they too have every opportunity to gain self-respect and become productive, successful members of our society. Throughout the years he has donated his time with Rotary, helped out schools in need, provided coats and backpacks for Olive Crest, which provides homes and services for abused children.

Mr. McMillan is the Chairman of the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and Trustee for the North Las Vegas Chamber Foundation.
