A local attorney, Gus W. Flangas, won a sizeable case for his client July 27th involving lost wages, loss of stock and efforts aimed by others to keep his client from working in the industry.

The jury of eight found that George Pursglove had been denied these rights by his former employer, BOOMJ.COM, a developer of a social, political, financial and lifestyle internet site. BOOMJ.COM, based in southern Nevada, is now doing business nationwide as Beyond Commerce.

Allegations of securities fraud will be presented during a preliminary hearing against former Nye County Commissioner Henry Neth Sept. 30 in Clark County Justice Court.

His attorney, Gus Flangas, said that date could be continued if prosecutors don't soon provide documents requested by his office.
